SOCA – The SOFC Commercialization Association
The Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) Commercialization Association (SOCA) was established to foster the development and commercialization of Siemens Power Generation Power Corporation's tubular SOFC technology. SOCA provides a means by which companies engaged in energy related businesses may voluntarily coordinate their efforts to assist in the development of products and applications of interest to the power generation industry, based on tubular SOFC technology. SOCA is also intended to be an organization that fosters information exchange between interested companies on potential distributed power generation applications for commercial SOFC products.
SOCA is an independent, self-governing, and self-financed organization with operating expenses covered by membership dues. SOCA has a Governing Committee elected by and from the membership that oversees the day-to-day operation of the organization. SOCA has an Administrator who generally administers all aspects of the organization.
