With the acquisition of KK&K, Siemens has expanded its compressor portfolio. The new machines comprise a comprehensive series of single-shaft and gear-type compressors for small to medium volume flows (up to 200,000 m³/h). Optimum aerodynamic design, best possible efficiency and requirement-specific flexibility characterize these turbomachines.
Optimized for various gases and processes, these compressors mainly serve in the following areas:
